Bio
Evan grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he was exposed to farmer's markets and local foodways from a young age. After graduating from Dartmouth College with a degree in Geography, he pursued a career in hospitality management. In the time since, he also held positions with various food and technology start-ups, building out strategic sourcing and procurement teams. Shortly after moving to Chicago three years ago, Evan transitioned back into the restaurant industry as a General Manager with Bonhomme Hospitality. He has helmed the teams at Beatnik on the River, GoodFunk, and Bambola, and currently runs Beatnik West Town and the newly opened GoodFunk West Town.
Evan joined the GCM Associate Board to get further involved with food access and equity work here in Chicago. In his spare time, you can find him cooking for friends and family, riding his gravel bike, and spending time with wife Hanna and dog Ruby.
